Everyone who ventured to the John Paul School said it was a life changing experience, I reflected on that thought. What was it? For myself, I believe it was the sheer joy the people displayed in their spontaneous smiles, singing and dancing. The student's obvious pride in their school clearly shines through. John Paul Secondary School is an extremely vital component of the region in providing secondary education to those who are Uganda’s future. I plan to return as often as possible and assist in whatever capacity I might be needed except cooking! Bono travels the world interacting with people, doing great deeds, but he has nothing on me, a woman from rural America. After all, as a Mzungu has he scored a soccer goal in Chelekura,Uganda?
